As a therapist, I am deeply grateful for the opportunity I have to help individuals navigate change, overcome challenges, and rediscover their inherent worth. I strive to create an environment of growth, safety, compassion, and acceptance. My experience includes working with adolescents, adults, couples, and families in both outpatient and residential treatment settings. I believe therapy is most effective when it is a collaborative process considerate of the unique needs, circumstances, cultural backgrounds, and strengths each client brings.
My clinical approach draws from several evidenced-based modalities including Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Mind-Body Bridging, Emotionally-Focused Therapy (EFT), Internal Family Systems (IFS) and Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART). I also enjoy the use of sand tray, art, and other expressive interventions. I have experience working with challenges related to OCD, anxiety, trauma, grief, depression, self-harm, suicidality, Autism Spectrum Disorder, child behavioral challenges, and relational problems. I am especially passionate about working with adolescents and their families, helping them find connection and growth together.
In my personal time I love mountain biking, skiing, laughing at memes, reading Stephen King novels, playing Animal Crossing, and creating origami and pottery. My most cherished time is spent simply having fun with my sweet husband and cat!
