Bio

I am currently seeking my Master of Social Work at Brigham Young University. I have previously worked in various roles with different populations, including substance use disorders, trauma, and individuals with disabilities.

I am passionate about helping people find empowerment through controlling what they can, and accepting what they cannot control. I believe that anyone can find joy in any situation, no matter how dire the circumstances. My goal is to help individuals identify their values which give life meaning, and strive to live in accordance with those values.

In session, I strive to create a comfortable and trauma-informed environment where clients feel safe to open up and work on their goals. I do this through several different methods, including mindfulness and grounding principles, value work, psychoeducation on the brain and emotional processing, and developing coping and emotional regulation skills.

In my free time, I love to paint, sing, and spend time with my cat. I also love being in nature and connecting with friends and family.
